This year it will be Mak’s 20th birthday (dont worry, he’s old enough to drink that bottle of champagne !). Thanks to your support we have managed to reach this milestone, its not been easy and it looks like the road ahead could be a bumpy ride aswell thanks to our incompetant politicians ! (sorry, couldn’t help mentioning Brexit).
Whatever happens in the future we will just keep making boxes and supplying packaging to the best level of service. That’s all we can do. We’ll keep our heads down from all the flack and carry on.
With the world finally waking up to the problems of waste we will continue to do our bit which is why we have introduced our Eco Packaging range. I still feel though that better recycling technology is key, too much waste still enters landfill and people are still confused what waste can be recycled by their local councils. Some plastics can be recycled, others can’t.
We look foward to another 20 years, hopefully an even greener future. Thanks again for supporting Makkipak and good luck in 2019 (should be an interesting year !)
